Motus Consulting is owned by Jessica Tuthill. Jessica is on a mission to help companies gain better financial understanding of their business. Her dynamic leadership, bold practicality, and enthusiasm to understand operations, ensures accounting and financial deliverables are keeping up with operational demands. Jessica has successfully helped new businesses navigate common pitfalls and establish accounting protocol to stay ahead of cash shortages.

Jessica has more than 20 years of experience providing management, financial review and accounting services to businesses in all life cycles; from start-ups to annual revenues of more than $100 million within multiple industries. She is a proponent for developing and fostering relationships between accounting personnel and operational leaders to improve financial planning and analysis of business performance.

Jessica began her career in Washington, DC metropolitan area with CohnReznick, providing advisory services from staff augmentation to development and implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley. Desiring larger clients and changing her focus to audit, she moved to Grant Thornton; providing audit services for public and private companies. Jessica wrapped up her public accounting career performing audit services at PwC in Portland, Oregon, achieving the position Manager before moving to Bend, Oregon.

After leaving public accounting, she spent 10 years working as the Controller, then CFO, for a private transportation business, that was a wholly owned subsidiary of a publicly traded company. She developed accounting department standard operating procedures; implemented automation software; participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions; and worked closely with operational personnel to provide real-time financial data to improve decision making.

Jessica graduated from American University and is a licensed CPA in Oregon.
